COSC1 and 2: Collisional Orogeny in the Scandinavian Caledonides

The drilling of COSC-1 was completed in 2014. The sampling party of the cores
took place in February 2015 in the core repository of the BGR at
Berlin Spandau, Germany in order to coordinate the analytical efforts of
the various partner laboratories. Alba Zappone is involved in the
laboratory characterization of petrophysical parameters and log analysis
on in situ stress condition.
The COSC-2 full proposal has been submitted to ICDP in January 2016 after
a successful international workshop that was held in October 2015 in Uppsala, Sweden.
Alba Zappone, ETH Zürich will be leading the task group on the décollement characterization.
